DAY 01
DELHI - CHANDIGARH

On arrival at Delhi we drive to Chandigarh. (approx. 5 hrs / 250 kms). Checchank into the hotel. Rest of the day is free to enjoy beautiful city and well planned city of India.
Overnight in Chandigarh.

DAY 02
CHANDIGARH - SHIMLA

This morning after an early breakfast we drive to Shimla (approx. 4 hrs / 140 kms). Check into the hotel. After a quick wash and change we take an excursion to Kufri- an excellent Ski resort in the winter. Thereafter we proceed to Chail- former summer capital of the Maharaja of Patiala. It is a peaceful haven in the mountains.


Overnight back at Shimla.

DAY 03
SHIMLA

This morning we take an excursion to Naldhera, which has a mini golf course ,Giant Deodar Trees and the deep Gorge at the Sutlej river are an interesting sights.

DAY 04
SHIMLA - MANALI

This morning after an early breakfast we drive to Manali (approx. 8- 9 hrs/ 275 kms)- the gateway to the Rohtang pass.


On arrival check into the hotel.

DAY 05
MANALI

After breakfast, we proceed for a city tour visiting Dhungri Temple-dedicated to Hadimba Devi, Vashisht Bath (for hot springs), JagatSuk - ancient capital of Kulu. Evening is free to take a walking tour of the town.

DAY 06
MANALI

Today we have an early start as we go to Rohtang Pass at an altitude of 4112 metres on the route to Keylong which is the only access to the Lahual Valley near the Indo-Tibetan border, which is primitive and rugged surrounded by high snow capped mountains and massive glaciers. We return in the evening.

DAY 07
MANALI - DHARAMSHALA

After breakfast proceed to Dharamshala (approx 7 hrs/220 kms). -the land of the Lama, jewel of Kangra Valley . On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free to take a walk down the mall.

DAY 08
DHARAMSHALA

Dharamshala is split into 2 Upper and Lower Dharamshala. This morning we will visit Kotwali Bazaar in Lower Dharamshala, which is a narrow road with shops on both sides. Proceed to YOL camp where World War II Italian prisoners were kept, onwards to the war memorial, which commemorates the sacrifices of the Himachal War Heroes. Between the Upper & Lower Dharamshala is the school of Tibetan Culture Library. Later drive to Upper Dharamshala & Mcleod Ganj where one can shop for Tibetan carpets, Tangkhas etc . Return to the hotel in the evening.

DAY 09
DHARAMSHALA - DALHOUSIE

This morning after breakfast drive to Dalhousie (approx. 6 hrs/ 160 kms)- the quite Alpine Retreat- known for its toy town beauty that other Himalayan Resorts lack. On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore the town by taking a walking tour.

DAY 10
DALHOUSIE

Today we shall see what Dalhousie has to offer. The tour begins at the G.P.O chowk next to the Dalhousie club. Proceed to the Panjpullah water falls, Bakrota Hill where Rabindranath Tagore once lived. Nehru Tibha and lastly Kalatope an exquisitely beautiful natural spot to savour the spectacular sunsets.

DAY 11
DALHOUSIE - CHANDIGARH

After an early breakfast drive to Chandigarh (approx. 7-8 hrs / 260 kms). On arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free.

DAY 12
CHANDIGARH - DELHI

Today after an early breakfast we proceed for the city tour visiting the Secretariat in Sector 1, which also houses other govt. buildings, including the High Court & the Tower of shadows , the hand of Unity- Nek Chand Rock Garden, whimsical and inspirational , this garden is the highlight of your visit to Chandigarh, Rose Garden- This large ornamental garden may be the biggest in Asia and contains at least 1500 varieties of roses. Thereafter we drive to Delhi (approx. 4-5 hrs/250 kms) to make your connections back home.

TOUR COST INCLUDES:

• All Transfers & sightseeing by A/C Indigo Car with toll tax, parking charges & driver allowance as per the tour itinerary
• Hotel accommodation on twin sharing basis as per above mentioned hotels / similar
• Daily breakfast and Dinner at the hotels

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• 10% before 15 days from date of departure
• 25% before 7 days from date of departure
• 50% within 7 days from date of departure
• 100% within 48 hours from date of departure

1. The domestic airfares are based on current tariff of the domestic airlines & are subject to change without prior notification; the revised fares will be charged extra.
2. Cancellations made before start of tour will be subject to the hotels' and airlines' cancellation policies.
3. All arrangements made by Shree Raj travels & tours are in the capacity of an agent only.
4. Shree Raj travels & tours will not be liable for claims or expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control such as accidents, injuries, delayed or cancelled flights & acts of force majuere.
5. All passengers must be covered by suitable travel/health insurance prior to departure from the country of origin.
6. Deposits will be requested for as and when the same is required by the hotels/airlines.
