KERALA BACKWATER DELIGHT
COCHIN - KUMARAKOM - HOUSEBOAT
(3 Night / 4 Days)

DAY 1
Cochin (40 km-1 hr)

On arrival at the Airport/Railway Station in Cochin, you will be met the driver and transferred to Hotel. After lunch go across the Cochin Harbour, which takes you to the gateway of the Arabian Sea. On arrival at Fort Cochin, proceed on a sight seeing tour, which includes a visit to the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, etc. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight stay at Cochin.
 

DAY 2
Cochin - Kumarakom (90 km- 2 hrs)

Today after breakfast you will be driven to Kumarakom; view the scenic picturesque landscapes on your way. Check in at the Hotel/ Resort on the banks of the Vembanad Lake. Spend the evening at leisure.
Stay overnight at the Resort.
 

DAY 3
Kumarakom (Houseboat)

Breakfast at the hotel. Board the houseboat from Kumarakom jetty. Staying in this moving palace is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms, fisherman and local life. Lunch, dinner next day breakfast and tea snacks will be provided in the boat. The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place.
Dinner and Overnight in the houseboat.
 
 
 

DAY 4
Departure Alleppey - Cochin (30 Km-1 hr)


After breakfast in the houseboat disembark at Alleppey. Alleppey is also known as Vinice of the East because of the narrow canals and backwaters. Transfer to Cochin Airport / Railway station for your onward journey.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  •  10% before 15 days from date of departure
  •  25% before 7 days from date of departure
  •  50% within 7 days from date of departure
  •  100% within 48 hours from date of departure

The domestic airfares are based on current tariff of the domestic airlines & are subject to change without prior notification; the revised fares will be charged extra. Cancellations made before start of tour will be subject to the hotels' and airlines' cancellation policies. All arrangements made by Shree Raj travels & tours are in the capacity of an agent only. Shree Raj travels & tours will not be liable for claims or expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control such as accidents, injuries, delayed or cancelled flights & acts of force majuere. All passengers must be covered by suitable travel/health insurance prior to departure from the country of origin. Deposits will be requested for as and when the same is required by the hotels/airlines.
