DAY 2
Munnar
In morning after breakfast sight seeing trip of Munnar;
visiting the Eravikulam National Park where you can see the
very rare mountain goats locally called the Nilgiri Tahr (Hermitragus
Hylcrious) -the mountain goat of South India. Visit Mattupetty
Dam & Dairy Farm, Old Munnar Town, the town market etc… Rest
of the day at leisure and enjoy another night.
Overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 3
Munnar - Thekkady (120 km- 4 hrs)
After breakfast drive down to Periyar/Thekkady and check
in at the Hotel/Resort. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, one of
the largest wildlife reserves in India, it occupies 777 sqkms
of the Cardamom Hills region of the Western Ghatts. Evening
game viewing by the boat in the sanctuary, surrounded by the
hills. Wildlife includes elephants, gaur, wild dogs, otters,
freshwater tortoise and bird species like heroin, kingfisher,
hornbill, water and fishbowls can be seen here.
