DAY 1
Arrival Cochin (40 km- 1 hr)

On arrival at Cochin International Airport/Railway Station, you are greeted and whisked away to historic Willingdon Island. In Cochin, explore this ancient harbour, with its rich colonial past. Explore the old spice market at Mattancherry, the antique shop on Jew's street, the Synagogue, the Dutch palace and of course, the famous Chinese fishing nets followed by harbour cruise.
Overnight at Casino Hotel.

DAY 2
Cochin - Thekkady (170 km- 5 hrs)

You leave the coastal plain, traveling winding hill roads with plantations of rubber, spice and tea. Enroute stopover for lunch at the Plantation House. After checking in at Spice Village the afternoon is reserved for a boat safari in the Periyar Sanctuary. Engage in activities like Cooking demonstration and cultural programme followed by dinner.

DAY 3
Thekkady

Early mornings are the best time for sightings and you can expect to spot herds of elephants, bison, deer and spectacular bird life. Not to mention some of the 140 species of orchid that thrive here. A trip to Periyar is not complete without visiting the spice plantations. Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight at Spice Village.

DAY 4
Thekkady - Kumarakom (130 Km-4 hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Kumarakom. On arrival check into resort. Spend the day at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Vembanad Lake.
Overnight stay at the resort.

DAY 5
Kumarakom

Early morning go for bird watching at the bird sanctuary. Later come back to the resort. After breakfast visit to the farm house. Rest of the day at leisure.
Over night stay at Kumarakom.

DAY 6
Kumarakom - Marari (30 Km - 1 hr)

After breakfast, enjoy a session of Yoga. Thereafter, depart for Alleppey and on arrival, check into hotel. After lunch, enjoy the day at leisure.
Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7
Marari

In the morning, enjoy a session of Yoga. After breakfast, explore the area and it's fishing villages nearby on a bicycle or take a dip in the sea.
Stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8
Departure Marari - Cochin (80 Km-2 hrs)

Depart as per schedule to the Airport/ Railway station at Cochin to connect onto your flight back home.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

•  10% before 15 days from date of departure
•  25% before 7 days from date of departure
•  50% within 7 days from date of departure
•  100% within 48 hours from date of departure

The domestic airfares are based on current tariff of the domestic airlines & are subject to change without prior notification; the revised fares will be charged extra. Cancellations made before start of tour will be subject to the hotels' and airlines' cancellation policies. All arrangements made by Shree Raj travels & tours are in the capacity of an agent only. Shree Raj travels & tours will not be liable for claims or expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control such as accidents, injuries, delayed or cancelled flights & acts of force majuere. All passengers must be covered by suitable travel/health insurance prior to departure from the country of origin. Deposits will be requested for as and when the same is required by the hotels/airlines.
