DAY 1
Arrival Cochin (35 Km-1 hr)

Arrival Cochin Airport / Railway station and transfer to an city Hotel. Full day at leisure. Optional go for shopping. Evening (Optional: Go for a traditional Kathakali show).
Overnight stay at your hotel.

DAY 2
Cochin

Afternoon local sightseeing of Cochin which include Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, etc....

DAY 3
Cochin - Alleppey (Houseboat) (100 Km-2.5 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Alleppey. Checkin to the waiting houseboat. Enroute you can see many romantic beauty of the nature which will remind you that you are in the "God's Own Country". You can view coconut palm fringed canals and local people going for a fresh catch of the day & Tapping of toddy (Local beverages) from palm trees. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 4
Alleppey - Thekkady (160 km-4 hrs)

After a sumptuous breakfast checkout of the Houseboat at Alleppey. Proceed to Thekkady to have a wonderful night in the famous wildlife sanctuary. Afternoon move for an enchanting boating in the lake Periyar to watch the wildlife from close quarters.

DAY 5
Thekkady

Today your schedule includes plantation visit and trekking in the Jungle also available (Optional). Evening go for a spice shopping at the local market.

DAY 6
Thekkady - Madurai. (180 km-5 hrs)

Proceed to Madurai the Temple city of South India. The ancient city of Madurai, some 2600 years old is laid out in the banks of river Vaigai as a lotus flower with the Meenakshi temple in the centre. After lunch go for a city tour visiting - Meenakshi temple, King Tirumala's Palace, Great Tank and Gandhi Museum.

DAY 7
Madurai -Tanjore (180 km-5 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Thanjavur (Tanjore). Tanjore once the capital of Chola Kings, has the Brahadeswara temple(or the big temple of God).The temple tower rises to a height of 15mts from a square base of 29 mts and then tapers off, making a total of 66mts. Later back to Madurai for you.

DAY 8
Madurai - Excursion to Rameshwaram - 
Madurai (360kms - 10 hrs)

After breakfast proceed to Rameshwaram ( 180Km - 5Hrs) - the most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Srilanka. Legend has it that Lord Rama sent Hanuman to Mount Kailash to bring a Lingam for worship when he set foot after defeating Ravana. As Hanuman did not return when the auspicious hour was approaching, Sita made a sand Lingam so that worship could be performed in time, which is where the present day Ramanatha Swamy Temple stands close to sea on the eastern side of the island. One of the twelve Jyotirlingam shrines is also well known for its magnificent corridors and the massive sculptured pillars lining them. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to Madurai for dinner.

DAY 9
Madurai - Kanyakumari (260 km-6.5 hrs)

After breakfast proceed for Kanyakumari - the land's end of India where the water of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean meet. An important pilgrim centre of India, it is famous for the Amman Temples - a symbol of unity and sanctity - dedicated to the virgin Goddess, Kanya Kumari. To its South - East lies the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial , a blend of all the architectural styles of India. Evening enjoy the beautiful sun set.

DAY 10
Kanyakumari - Kovalam (90 km-3hrs)

After watching sunrise at Kanyakumari proceed to Trivandrum/ Kovalam. Optional: enroute local sightseeing of Trivandrum which includes Museum complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science & Technology museum, Veli Tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach. Later proceed to Kovalam Beach.
Overnight at Kovalam Beach hotel.

DAY 11
Kovalam

Full day at leisure at beach. (Optional: Go for a Ayurvedic message).
Overnight at Kovalam Beach hotel.

DAY 12
Departure Trivandrum (30 Km-1 hr)

Depart as per schedule to Airport / Railway station at Cochin for your onward journey.

•  10% before 15 days from date of departure
•  25% before 7 days from date of departure
•  50% within 7 days from date of departure
•  100% within 48 hours from date of departure

The domestic airfares are based on current tariff of the domestic airlines & are subject to change without prior notification; the revised fares will be charged extra. Cancellations made before start of tour will be subject to the hotels' and airlines' cancellation policies. All arrangements made by Shree Raj travels & tours are in the capacity of an agent only. Shree Raj travels & tours will not be liable for claims or expenses arising from circumstances beyond our control such as accidents, injuries, delayed or cancelled flights & acts of force majuere. All passengers must be covered by suitable travel/health insurance prior to departure from the country of origin. Deposits will be requested for as and when the same is required by the hotels/airlines.
